Welcome to Mountain Winds Guide Service! We are your
host Heather and Joey Austin. Our unique business is located in East Millinocket,
Maine at the foot of Mt. Katahdin. Our goal as your host is to make your stay with
us one of the most memorable that you have. We want your first visit to be a memory
and all others for years to come a visit with friends.

Heather is in charge of booking for the guide service. She is always
ready to extend a warm welcome and an extended hand to help you prepare your activities
while you visit with us. She is always keeping an eye on the happenings of the area
so that she knows from year to year the best time to schedule you for that hunting or
fishing trip, the best rafting times, fall foliage viewing and much more. 
Joey is a registered Maine guide and will accompany you on your hunts and
recreational trips. Growing up in the Katahdin Region has allowed him to become very
familiar with all of the hunting, fishing and scenic spots to go in the area. If you
are here for the hunt of a lifetime or just to relax on the deck of the boat as we
explore the local lakes we will make your stay a memory for life.
